I am a charismatic and driven full-time music tutor & musician, currently offering online lessons, with a passion to share the knowledge I have acquired with my students!
Alongside teaching grades privately and in schools, I have spent the last decade touring the UK & Europe in multiple successful musical projects, performing live at most of the UK’s largest festivals such as Reading & Leeds, Isle of Wight, Y Not, TRNSMT, Victorious, Sheffield Tramlines, The Great Escape and many more. I have also recorded in professional studios across England as both a permanent and session musician including Peter Gabriel’s Real World Studios, Monnow Valley, The Premises Studios and Livingston Studios.
All of the above experience has given me a unique perspective to my teaching style with a large emphasis on live performance, effective rehearsal practises and strong discipline, something that isn’t commonly taught amongst tuition at school.
I have been teaching privately and in schools for the last 7 years, most recently at Smallberry Green Primary School in Isleworth and at West Ashtead Primary School in Ashtead, Surrey.
I have had the privilege of working with students from a wide range of different backgrounds and ages, from 4-35, and have developed a strong understanding of how best to tailor my lessons to meet the bespoke needs of each of my tutees.
I teach a variety of music both casually and graded (Trinity Guildhall, Trinity Rock & Pop or Rockschool) which include Guitar, Drums/ Percussion, Ukulele & Music Theory.
Please don’t hesitate to get in touch or ask me any questions!
I look forward to hearing from you.
As a teacher I always set out to find the most enjoyable and effective method of learning for each and every one of my students. I offer a free introductory lesson so that we can get to know each other and set out the goals you want to achieve from the very start.
I have a strong belief that an open and welcoming approach to learning your instrument is the most beneficial way of bettering yourself and ensuring a bright and enduring interest in music going forward.
Whether it be casual, graded or specific techniques you desire to learn, I will provide a fun and interactive lesson plan whilst teaching what I feel to be at least the essential basics of music theory, all the while encouraging your own rehearsal schedule in order to gain the best possible results together.
I teach a variety of music both casually and graded from 1-6 in Trinity Guildhall, Trinity Rock & Pop or Rockschool for Guitar, Drums/ Percussion, Ukulele & Music Theory.
My professional experience in live performance and studio recording has given me a unique perspective to my teaching style with a large emphasis on effective rehearsal practises & strong discipline, something that isn’t commonly taught amongst tuition at school.
I am able to provide in-depth knowledge about the music industry, as well as offer advice for young musicians looking to pursue a career in the arts themselves.
I have a fully equipped home studio suitable for providing lessons both in person and online.
